Renewal Color Behind Story Part 1

Of the 7 colors of Narcissism Lip Tint, 714 vamp tint, 718 cherry tint, and 723 taste tint are children who have returned with the renewal of the same name color of the hyper-water lip tint line.

Why did Amelie, a color specialist brand with various color prescriptions, renewed these colors among so many products? And what areas have you focused on improving?

I asked Amelie BM, who was in charge of product planning and development of Narcissism Lip Tint directly.

Q1. On what basis did you choose the renewal color?

“When the Hyper-Water Loft Tint Renewal was planned, we selected the colors that Nummelis requested to return first and the most. 714 Vamp tint, 718 cherry tint, and 723 taste tint were colors that only exist in Amelie, and are also colors that I wanted to improve little by little if the tint was renewed.”

Q2. What areas did you focus on improving?

“It is said to be a renewal of Hyper-Water Loft Tint, but it is a completely different formulation. Whereas the previous tint focused on moisture and color, Narcissism Lip Tint focused on moisture + a suitable oil for brilliance + unexpected coloring. If you adjust the transparency with color, the whiteness rises and becomes cloudy, so it was important that the formulation itself should be transparent in the first place. According to the researcher, the glossy tints that are popular these days have a light formulation and high coloring power, but they do not show color well. In a nutshell: ① Moist and shiny formulation ② High color development ③ Control transparency without whiteness ④ Some degree of coloring power, I developed a formulation that satisfies all of these.”

Q3. What was particularly difficult during the development stage?

① It was partly because it was a lip line that was released after a long time, and it was also a new item that Amelie did not have, so I felt the biggest pressure.

② Getting the color variations was the most difficult. It should be developed mainly for colors that Amelie does not have, but there was a principle that there should be no obvious colors.

③ It was difficult to match the color tone because the shape changed. Researchers also put a lot of thought and effort into the toning part. For example, 914 Vampire has flat lip, air lip, and lip tints, but it is difficult to match the colors because they have different formulations, so I matched each formulation.

In the following part 2, I tried to find out the difference between the old color and the renewal color through direct experiments.
